What do Serena Williams, Bill Clinton and Hugh Jackman all have in common?

Yes, they are all leaders in their respective fields. But the famous three share another, more personal commonality: Each is a former client of world-renowned life and business coach Tony Robbins.

For Ottawa residents hoping to see first-hand what motivates many of the world’s rich and famous to seek out Robbins and his guidance, the opportunity is coming up this fall. On Sept. 27, Robbins and an array of other speakers will appear at the Power of Success conference at the Shaw Centre.

The day-long event includes training in sales, marketing, negotiating and personal development, among other focus areas.

In the past, Power of Success events have included headliners such as Oprah Winfrey, Bill Clinton and Ellen Degeneres. The day is geared toward anyone looking to improve their outlook on life, and will focus on both personal and professional development.

Along with Robbins, the roster of speakers includes:

  • Loretta Laroche. An internationally recognized stress-management consultant who advocates fun, optimism and resilience, Laroche uses her wit to help people learn how to take stress and turn it into strength.
  • Anthony Diiorio. Born and raised in Toronto, Diiorio is a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, community organizer and thought leader in the field of digital currencies, blockchain and decentralized technologies.
  • Phil Town. A three-time New York Times best-selling author and a self-made investment whiz, Town is the founder of Rule #1 Investing and the voice behind the weekly Invested podcast.
  • Bob Kittell. A power-proven award winning speaker who focuses on communication and memory, Kittell has spoken at events featuring former U.S. Presidents Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
