Revenues at Intouch Insight (TSX-V:INX) continued to climb steadily as the Ottawa firm reported initial income from its new customer experience platform on Tuesday.
Intouch Insight reported revenues of $3.9 million for the three-month period ending Sept. 30, an increase of seven per cent year-over-year.
The Ottawa-based company, which has spent years and millions of dollars in R&D on a new customer experience management platform, saw its first revenues from the new SaaS product in the third quarter. Its LiaCX platform brought in $16,667 from an unnamed but “significant customer,” the firm said in a release.
CEO Cameron Watt says the company expects revenues from the product to grow substantially as Intouch orients its strategies around a new offering.
“We are now fully entrenched in the sales and marketing of LiaCX and continue to execute on our go-to-market plan," he said in a statement.
Intouch Insight reported a net loss of $590,000 for the quarter compared with net income of $33,000 a year ago. The firm attributed the swing to sales efforts surrounding the new product.
