Some of Ottawa’s most well-known tech execs will ask a live crowd to imagine with them at next year’s TEDxKanata event.

The annual idea-sharing forum will return for its fifth edition in 2019 under the theme of “imagine.” Among the lineup of speakers are two executives from Kanata’s tech scene, Martello CEO John Proctor and Amy MacLeod, vice-president of strategic communications and corporate diversity officer at Mitel.

Leaders from across Ottawa’s tech sector will join them onstage. MindBridge AI CEO Eli Fathi, Shopify’s director of talent acquisition Anna Lambert and family lawyer Katherine Cooligan are all slated to speak.

Rounding out the lineup are author and marketing exec Connor LaRocque, the Ottawa Hospital’s Dr. Phil Wells and president of the Capital City Condors Jim Perkins.

Tickets are on sale now for the fifth annual TEDxKanata, to be held on Feb. 28, 2019.
