Hats off: Ottawa's Ross Video takes Best of Show for new switcher at NAB 2017

Ross Video nabbed TV Technology’s Best of Show award for its new production solution, Graphite, at the 2017 National Association of Broadcasters convention. Graphite, which was unveiled at NAB, is an all-in-one production switcher with features to provide seamless graphics and reliable operation without system crashes.

Two Ottawa students have been selected amongst 20 finalists for the Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch program. Académie de la Seigneurie’s Jeremy Chevalley and Canterbury High School’s Victoria Gillan will pitch their business ideas live on May 15th to a panel of judges at Discovery for a chance to win up to $3,000 in startup funds and mentorship support.

The Ottawa-Gatineau region’s top employers have been recognized by the organizers of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. The designation recognizes employers in the Ottawa-Gatineau metropolitan area that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
