Domicile Developments is asking the city for permission to build a 12-storey mixed-use building on Somerset Street and City Centre Avenue, just west of Chinatown, according to the city.
The proposal calls for 127 residential apartment units along with a total of 15,166 square feet of commercial space.
The commercial space is to be divided into seven separate units which would face onto both City Centre Avenue and Somerset Street. There would also be additional commercial space on the third floor.
